Straits continues to address the area of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and is in the process of further expanding environmental awareness internally and in doing so has identified several key areas to assist in the reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions. These key areas include:

• Energy efficiency audits,
• Increased use of gas over diesel,
• Selection of energy efficient equipment,
• Ongoing appropriate maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment,
• Site layout efficiency.
